Young child, why do you cry
Hidden deep under the sink
Hiding from the world outside
Ashamed of your tears
Young Child, you're alone
No one is going to help
No one will ever help you
You leprous child, damned to hell
Child, they strip you naked
Naked of your pride and love
Rip away your beautiful heart
That you wear on your sleeve
Child, they take it away
The shredded thing useless anymore
Look, it's gone
With your heart, they stole so much more
Empathy and love
You don't need such things
Stand up Child
See, you have grown
Grown strong, grown hard
You stand above them all
Above those children
Above those adults
Look how far that are below you
Look how useless and feeble they are
Like ants, pests, vermin, you have the power
Young Child, you're so big
Not young anymore, but an adult
You know of true hatred and how to see through lies
You can manipulate and control
You know the truth
At the age of nine
You are an adult Child, alone in this world
Look at this wasteland
At the tattered hearts worn on frail sleeves
Those whom you know
I give them to you
Child, so old you are
An old person of power and will
You bend their minds and stare them down
You're almost there Child
At fourteen, you're almost a monster
Let them scar you, inside and out
Mangle your dead heart and carve into your face
Let them Child
Because through this, you will be beautiful
Every year, they try
And when you're ready you'll know
Watch yourself bleed
See how beautiful the crimson tears are
See how they
S T A I N
Your mark, Child, has been branded
Forever in the weaving net of the world
Watch as the ticks
The gnats, mosquitoes, and fleas of this world flock
Your blood is delicious to them
It makes these weak and fragile creatures strong
They be not thankless either
These parasitic insects are so much more deserving
They are worth more than thousands of others
Your swarm bids for more, for you to feed them
Bask your glory upon them
Let them feel strong against these spineless sheep
Child, you are seventeen
You have survived the calls of the crypt
And the hollow echo of loneliness
You have subdued Death and forced him to bow
Your demons that feed upon the sacred nectar
Scatter the flocks with a wave of your hand
You were so weak
Look at them, you were once like that
Huddled under the bathroom sink
Crying little child
Pathetic little child
Watch their tears that you brought to birth
Watch your life source roll down their flushed cheeks
You have won
They fear you Child
They whisper in the night
“Oh lord of the heaven please cast that one away”
And he does not answer their cries
They scorn you in uttered voices
They wish you dead
Disgusting
Evil
Cruel
M O N S T E R
Laughing Child, standing up on high
Great Monster who torments the mortal realm
You are a god!
You are Beautiful
Scarred from their cruelty
Marred by their apathy
Moulded by their hatred
Look how glorious you are
Judge the fools who once looked down on you
Watch them writhe
Pitiful Child, pitiful no more
No Tears in your eyes
Or shudders in the dark
No matter how they try to break you
Or how you hurt
Always will you be smiling
